Holy Cross Monastery as Viewed from the West *Troita (a Romanian word pronounced "troitsa") is the name for this inspirational triple-branched wooden crucifix that was carved in a Romanian Orthodox monastery in Europe and enshrined by the Fathers just inside the Monastery gates. This project was made possible through the generosity of Sorin and Octavia Cismas to the greater glory of God in honor of their daughters Cristina and Sabrina. Those helping the Fathers erect the structure to enshrine the troita included Radu Nisipeanu (who also provided this photo), Vladimir Todor, Sorin Alexe, Ovidiu Predescu, Vlad Socaciu, Stefan Zidaru and his sons Cristian and Mihai.
